Viudez started working in the middle of the 60’s polishing marble, terrazzo and hydraulic mosaic pavements. In this period, all the work was practically done manually. Francisco Viudez Valderrama created his own working systems for polishing in Barcelona area. The results are the polishing machine and the abrasives.

The great acceptation by the professional community of the Viudez systems resulted in a commercial success not foreseen initially. Since then and until the beginning of the 80’s, both activities were practiced simultaneously: polishing and equipment selling. Thanks to the introduction in sales, Viudez working systems were introduced in all the peninsula.

From 1984 onwards, Viudez dedicates exclusively to the development, manufacture and sale of the equipment, thanks to its experience in polishing. In 1990 the company takes its present name Viudez Puerta, S.L. and incorporates its machine catalogue and cleaning products.

In 1996 Viudez Puerta, S.L emplaces in a 3000 square meters premises where the pavement polishing machines are designed, manufactured and sold and also imports and distributes machines and cleaning accessories.

Since its beginnings, the added value of the equipment is its excellent quality, the intelligence of its design, the permanent stock of machines, accessories, spare parts and most important, the experience of the staff working in VIUDEZ PUERTA, S.L.
